Studied the plans for the elevator trim installation. Manufactured the main bracket from 16mm birch ply wood to hold the trimwheel. In the evening I bonded it to the cockpit. The axle that holds the wheel was made from "Chromo" steel bar 14mm. On the lathe I worked it down to the required dimension of 5L. I made the axle slightly conical so I could press it into the birch.
